My first real detail other than my own car so why my dad was away i thought i would suprise him by turning his pink van back to red. The van is in abit of a state wheels kurbed etc but i knew i could make it look alot better.

This is pretty much what the whole van looked like

I cleaned and clayed the car and then was time for a test patch. I used Blackfire SRC compound on a green LC pad followed by Menz FF PO85 RD and was happy with the results.

I then did this around the whole of the van

I then added a layer of nattys blue paste as thats what i use on my own and trims were treated with AG bumper care.

Here are a few of the finnished product. Didnt get chance to take any good pics as it started to rain but an astra van isn't much to look at and you get the idea.

Ye he was very happy :) he was supprised that the paint could be brought back to almost new. In total i prob spent about 9 hours but thats without touching the inside which is a right state :)

im gonna put mine up now ;)

had to do the same thing. cause the paint was all shit it does take quite a bit of time to make sure you get in all the same and not miss bits
