Decided that after chrimbo i'm going to pur-chase a new camera, only thing being i know sweet fa about them.
What do people recommend as a half-decent, not stupidly expensive, but fairly tidy digi camera?

Right davey, im getting a digital camea for my xmas from the missus, ive been in numerous shops to find out what the best ones are.

1) The more pixels the better (4.0 million is gr8 but 2.0 is kak!!)

2) Choose a camera that can be charged up (its kinda like a mobile battery) or buy rechargable batteries, if you buy normal ones then id advise you to buy a box.

3) get on with loadsa zoom, ive looked at that Canon Ixus and its got 5.7 which is totally cool.

Im away to aberdeen tomow to pick one so ill let you know what one i get.

i have the canon ixus 500 and its the dogs bollocks! very easy to use but has a lot of excellent features, Simo also has an ixus smileys/smiley2.gif
