Bucket Seats..... Dont Fit

Hey,

Got a set of Sparco Fighter II bucket seats to go into the sax. They are miles wider than my last set of buckets and am worried they wont fit.

Measure 26 inches across at the shoulder pad bits.

52 inches for the pair (with no gap in the middle)

Saxo is only 53inches from window to window?????

Anyone had a similar problem and what did you do about it????

Do you really need the gap in the middle?? have you got any back seats in there? I think it wouls look the dogs from the front with no gap!!!!

Mount them to the floor tbh, Without subframes, should give you some more room:y:

Lol, that is a good point.. should see my mate driving round in his punto, he's 5'3" and seats are bolted to the floor :p

I thought mounting seats straight to the floor was uber dangerous..

Shouldnt be a problem mate..Trial fit them to see if they look like they are gona fit..

haha thats what i thought james, especially bucket seats..

there would be like an inch between your ass and the floor of your car.. (usually about 8-10 inches) the steering wheel, dash, window seals would be too high
imagine trying to park LOL

true mate, i noticed that aswell to be honest
coming into the work carpark, just the top of your head over the steering wheel lol
