std alarm / imob

hi

i'm looking at buying a vtr but most times when u get in the imob light in the dash comes on and stops u from starting the car (it spins up but fails to start). this is the std alarm could it be the key or something more serious. opinions please

Sounds like its not recognising chipped key ask as Citroen garage to give you idea on cost :-(

cool cheers after a while i does work but u can be sat in the car for like 10 mins locking and unlocking doors
