huh? lol. You can pretty much run most simple electrical items i.e neons, off the battery or cigarette points, they run the same amount of power (as the battery powers everything). Just make sure you get your positive and negatives ends the right way round and your sorted, just need to tuck all the wires away under the carpet and away from any serious components in the engine bay. If that answers your question?

well its best to connect things to the switched lives as this way it only gets power to it when the keys are turned or just put it on a switch and as always fit an inline fuse to keep things safe and from causing more damage

where would you want the neons ? all you need is a postive and negative and the switch to turn it on/off

Well you can, but its a pain in the bum, lol. Are you getting multiple neons put in, or are you just having the one. I know this sounds weird, but when i had my 1st pug 205, i managed to buy a 4 way cigarette lighter adapter off ebay with just the +ve and -ve wires for ends. I then connected them up to the back of the cigarette lighter, ran the extension under the glove box and put all my neons in there. And with the switch pad, which controlled the individual sockets on the 4 way adapter, I hid it under the centre of the dash by the radio so i could still flick the neons on and off. Make sense?

Connect to back of your headunit if possible, I did it with a TomTom at work the other day for someone
