Well im on the verge of getting a UDM and i think i have the right idea of what products i need to go with it but just wanted to make sure with you guys.

Basically getting the swirls etc. off my car is the main aim. This is what i think i will be getting very soon:

UDM kit
Swirl remover - Poorboy's SSR-however, i dont no which grade to go for as i have quite alot of swirls?
Polish - Poorboy's pro polish
Sealant - Poorboy's EX/EX-P Sealant
Wax - Poorboy's Nattys Paste wax
Wheels - Poorboy's bold and bright

Just want to make sure that i will have the right stuff and what SSR grade you think i will need. Sorry for the essay:y:

if i was to use SSR2.5 would i then need to go over it after with SSR1 just to be sure all swirls are out. And wouldnt SSR2.5 be to strong or will it be ok?

You can go over with ssr1 afterwards, SSR2.5 is kind of between the 2 and 3, so its moderately abrasive, and good on really bad paint, but if yours is fine and just wanting to bring the shine back, go for SSR1, and then give it a good going over with some sealant and wax

thats good results! and im thinkin about getting the poorboys polish and wax aswell. if i get SSR2, do you think it would be alright to go over it with the polish after or be best to the use SSR1 first and then polish?

I've not used SSR2 but was thinking of getting some or the 2.5 as i've got a scratch off a tree on my roof and SSR1 wont budge it. I would presume SSR1 all over the car.

Have you got a clay bar as well? You must ensure you clay bar the entire car to ensure you've got a good clean surface to work with. Otherwise you'll be putting more swirls on then you're taking off.

Once you've clayed, wash again, dry, ssr1, polish then wax. Jobs a good'un and your arm with ache like fuck!

BTW to get that black mark off the fiesta it took us about 1 hour

so if i were to get ssr 2.5 and ssr1, i would obviously go over the car with the ssr 2.5 but then would i need to go over the car again with ssr1 to really get a good finish?
