saxo immobilizer keypad

hi everyone

my mate has a saxo 1.1 p reg i think and has a keypad immobilizer now his typed the code wrong and it keeps flashing red and wont allow him to type the code will this eventually go away ? and how many times can u type it wrong ???

i think if you type the code in wrong 3 times you have to leave it for an hour before trying again cause it assumes someone is trying to break the code.

also if he wants to disconnect it. all you do is type the number in, start the car and pull the plug out the back off the keypad. put the keypad back in unpugged, and it will just start with the key everytime. but thats up to him.

aye you gotta wait for an hour or 2, shitroen told me you have to leave ignition on for 2 hours, but i just left it for an hour (i think) and it allowed me to punch in the correct code

Yer its only 30mins you have to wait until you can try it agian.
