sub problem

my sub is being a bit annoying lately, like when i turn it up its got the bass, but it may play for say half of a song and then stop working unless im playing is reletivly quite. or with the bass settings quite low, any1 got any idea why its doing this?

details on the sub and amp would be useful you could be overdriving the amp and its shutting itself down to protect itself.

Could be poor wiring and the amp isnt getting enough power to drive itself safely and again is shutting down to protect

its definatly a 600watt 2 channel amp
and i think t e sub is a 12" 600watt

tbh with ya fella i've got no idea of the RMS of each, don't have any of the details anymore, had them both for ages
