no it wont fit it's completely different. Different engine and therefore different distances between hub and gearbox etc

yes mate, the CV boot that goes over the joint to keep the grease in that keeps the joint greased....lol, and no its the inner smaller boot with the metal collar on it. any way back to the original question, 306 driveshaft?

ok mate, know it was a daft question but at first glance i thought it was a vtr shaft, so thought it may fit. worth a try though! ;) (indestructable cv boots ftw!!!!!)

Then no, if you wanan take the whole driveshaft off you can't! Completely different cars, sorry bud. You should be able to get your driveshaft done for under £100.

can get a newish driveshaft on saturday for £10, just wanted to change it after work tomorrow, thus the 306 idea! and i was also thinking of getting new boot, but theyre about £12 any way so with all the fannying about changing the boot i might as well just change the full shaft, as the 1 im buying has only done about 25000 miles.

yeah the outer boot split few months ago, now its the inner (on the same shaft) so when i get the newish 1 fitted ill just re-con (so to speak) the old 1 with a new boot for a spare. :y:
