Hey,
As some of you may know my car was in the garage today getting my manfiold and exhaust fitted, but my exhaust is too short? I got a backbox and 1 pipe with it, but it doesn't reach from the backbox to the manifold, i obviously didn't get it for some reason or i wasn't supposed to? It was a cat-back system i ordered and heres a pic of what i got ( Just the exhaust pipe and backbox )

Any ideas guys? The guy at the garage will try phone and get a part tomorrow, just wondering why?

Could be the CAT in the manifold which means the pipe will not be the right fit.

My cat is in my manifold, so it's between my new manifold and the black pipe shown which is missing, about a foot or so of pipe, any ideas what i need to replace the space? If he can't get anything hes putting the standard exhaust/manifold back on.
I thaught it would fit as i ordered a cat-back system?

The cat back system is ment to go to the cat which are under the car model, as yours in the manifold it will need an extra pipe, or send it back for one that is for you car with the cat in the manifold.

this was the part of my ashley system that they forgot to give me
if you paid for a 2000 onwards system then you should be given it an should complain untill you do
if you accidently bought a pre 2000 system then yeah you will need a decat/front pipe

ahhh it says 2001 onwards to show its the cat in manifold type just a wee accident but that system would have been cheaper because of it not having the front pipe
sorry not sure about any cheaper decat pipes though

cut your car down, it makes sense, save you some money on the extra exhaust parts you require.

Looks spot on mate, going to see what the guy at the garage can do, as if i can't get one i'll have to pay him anway for trying etc.
He had the manifold on and the backbox. But he said he doesn't think he can have the manifold on the standard exhaust as it's "all different"
I could ask if he could have the backbox/manifold on atm and get a center section at a later date.
