immobilizer probs

hi there guys im a newbie on here, iv got a problem with a 97 p reg saxo vtr basically i bought the car as a none runner, the head gasket was gone along with a few other things so now iv sorted the head gasket i want to start the car to check out the repair, but now iv realized iv no start code for the keypad, iv tried a number of things to disconnect and bypass the keypad but to no joy the guy i bought the car from never changed the v5 to his name now iv no way of tracing it back to the previous owner to find out what the code was, how else can i get by this problem without spending £££...HELP...

is there nobody elses name on the v5. might be a long shot but try contact the last owner on the v5 they might know.

oh yeh forgot to say the last owner has immigrated to australia, so im proper screwed lol, i think il just need to get the ecu and keypad unlocked at a specialest

if you ring citroen they may still have the old owners name on as when i booked my car in a while back at Citroen they asked if i was such a body (who was previous owner) could be worth a shot to see if they know
