Big problem help plzzzzzz

have got a saxo vtr never missed a beat until yesterday when everthing went wrong. Just drop my m8 off and set off on my way got to a juction and must of stall it (we all do it sometime) tried to start the car would n't have it kept trying and it kept getting weaker and weaker. so rang my dad he came with the jump leads, car started first time:y:
but after taking the leads off after a minutes everything started to dead and it would start juddering the speedo was not working ,revs the same even the fuel gauge didn't read anything and then it would cut out......

o it gets better.... so got jump leads out again started it bk up and its fine when conected to my dads car so i started moving so that it wouldn't dead on me, but its now coughing and making weird sound (worried) still don't have a speedo or revs.

anyway couldn't get the car home it just kept cutting out when i breaked and with foot to the floor didn't do anything..... theres something very wrong

you had the alternator or battery tested? could be a possible cause

going to get a new battery hopefully it will be that

could be a number of things mate. might be better to call out an autoelectrician that can fault read the ECU

sounds like your alternater or ecu,wudnt b ur battery as wen ur cars started the alternater takes ova,get it checked

sounds liek the alternator my friend, like markvtr said above, if it started then the alternator would take over. Still maybe worth changing the battery.
