I am fitting components i need to know when i cut the standard cable to attach to my crossovers which cable is pos and which is neg please peeps

i have a green and pink cable on the drivers side

shouldent make a difference i dont think it didnt when i fitted mine

it does make a differnce, they will work both ways but if the negative is to positive then they will be pushing and pulling the cone at the same time making it distort

surely itd be better if you used an amp as a headunit wouldnt power them too good?

it is but there ok on the headunits amp for the time being

take them to the amp mate sound is alot better tryed mine on the amp before wiring them in to head unit

ya know i cant remember what i got now as i just riped them out the box and fitted think it was focals

oooo yeah, there great components aint they, mine might be some of them next like, turners always use them on demo cars and there cars, they have won a lot of shows with them :y:

if i turn them right up you cant hear my bass (2x1000 rockfords) anyway i am going to stop spioling this bokes thread now

well dont start blasting them right up yet, you need to break them in like you do with a new car mate, just leave them on a low volume slowly increasing the volume every few days or so
