Yeah they are good cars. That one is owned by a guy called Martin I'm sure, stays in Ayrshire. It's got just over 200bhp IIRC.

my gf cousin has 1 its been tuned 2 fuk, and he wont tell any1 what bhp its got, but i do knopw that it beats his mates evo5 by about 3 lengths in 1/4 miles does it in about 13 seconds

Arent they like 180bhp standard? Think it held a record for most power to
engine capacity ratio from production.

Wanted one instead but made a safe decision to get the 106, wasnt keen
on importing a car of that age.
Maybe in the future eh, but mint cars.

Yeah the engine note changes once you go into VTEC, it does that with all of them. It's not as obvious on mine but you can hear it.

my mate has an eg civic on an l-plate. its been turbo'd its now 300 bhp at wheels and only runnin 9psi lol. this car is a propa tool and all through a 1.6 vtec lump with 111k on the clock. its an evo 400 beater

awsome. yeh on the b-series engine (b16b in the ek9) the vtec engagement is quite aggressive. the noise loverly when you come into it, my brothers ek9 sounds class with a full spoon system and manifold.
