Is it true that lowering saxos more than 30/40mm puts a lot of strain on the gear box and 'kills' them after a small amount of miles?

Load of balls mate, lowered 80mm at the rear and 60mm at the front, no problems at all.

Cheers

it does put alot of extra stress on the box that was not intended, so its really the luck of the draw when it comes to weather or not your box goes bang, iv seen saxos-106 lowered more then 60mm and last alot of abusive driving then iv seen some at 50mm and driven like a old lady blow at only a few tho miles
