knocking noise when turning with power (driveshaft??)

as the title says really, if i come to a corner and use power to go round it, it knocks really loud. only when am going left tho.?

any help would be great cheers!

If I have a knocking noise on the drivers side does that mean the passenger side one is going? Cos I have had a knocking noise accelerating out of a right turn.

Could be alsorts, chech the arch linings are secure and not rubbing. Check the wishbone bolts are tight under the footwell carpets. Could be a cv boot/ joint and driveshafts.

Take it to a mechanic, they will tell you best :) Sounds like some kind of suspension part or driveshaft.

mine does that too - sounds like exhaust knock, or a bush soft but its slow and mettalic eh? Only when pulling out sharply to go left, gonna track it down this weekend.

could be a antiroll bar bush?

Surely if it was anti roll bushes the knocking would be coming from both sides?

i had the same problem, but it was jutt as simple as tightening my exhaust bolt

Yeh I was thinking of try that but I can't see why it would only knock when turning right.

yea but if one bust has gone the other may not have necessarely gone which would cause no banging when it went around the other way? do u reckon??

cos i did mine and it would only knock on the left turn but not the right was pretty strange

Well mine also knocks when accelerating too. so i don't think it's that. Will have to get it checked again i think
