just got my new insurance quote in, 1800 fully comp, 1.1, 51 plate, garaged, low crime rated zone, 1 years ncb, 18 year old, any1 else think its steep?? :wall: :wall:

Try gocompare, confused, quotedetective. Then Brentacre, Adrian Flux.
Flux and Brentacre were great for me!

Brentacre won't insure unless your 19 i think or been driving 2 years or something, either way i don't think they will give you a quote

gocompare.com came out super cheap for me.
£1388.10 Fully comp on a 2.0HDi 306 3Dr... with £300 excess with admiral.
18, driving just under a year, No no claims, 1 claim.
Added my mum, then my dad, and my dad has 6 points, all declared.
Go elsewhere mate!

try Bell insurance, cheap as on young drivers on their own name

how do you know your area is a low crime rate?
have you checked it against the database?
is it garaged?
what mileage have you put down?
how much is the car worth?
the price does however seem quite high...
