Its all been delivered, pretty quick delivery considering it came from 2 different sites. Ill get it all set up soon probably when i get my wing mirrors, tiger seal (for 1 of my wheel arches) and silver spray for the inside so it all gets done at the same time hopefully this week. Ill start my own progession thread soon before i start doing and adding things to it.

Shouldn't take too long at all to install this is your car, considering all the wiring is already in.
Providing the weather is ok and my cars fixed, I *may* be round tomorrow get it all fitted. Can't do it at mine as I keep losing things in the gravel drive!

Nah the previous owner of his car left all his amp wiring in etc...
So power lead, earth lead, remote cable and phono cables are already in, it's just speaker cable we've got to worry about.

i know but when he showed me a pic it was 8 gauge and was the cheap wiring kits, best to get a 4 gauge one in

When I last saw the wiring (admittedly over a month ago) it looked near enough the same thickness as mine, which is 4. If not we'll just buy one from halfords. Gotta go there tomorrow anyway to get some speaker wire.

Had a look at the Rainbow components today and the crossover is a little odd... It has the input for the amp but only has an output for the tweeter, nothing for the main speaker...
Can anyone help?

you had a good read of the instructions/manual??

Yeah but I can't really make any sense of it. The only diagram in it is the amp wire coming into the crossover and then the crossover going to the tweeter. There main speaker isn't even on there.

Need help with wiring up the rainbow speakers...it didnt show how to do it on the manual that came with it.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Some good stuff you've bought, how much did it all come too, i'm a lazy bastard to work it all out.
Might invest in all this myself.

I got speaker wire as well, in total was around £460 delivered i think.
Having troubles getting it all to work though, head unit wont switch on (seems like no power going to it when we connected most of the wires?) and speakers are hard working out which wire goes were as the manual doesnt describe itself good enough for connecting woofers.
