DOOR PINS ARE A NITEMARE

Ok ive went into the door after pulling of the plastic cover (which ive kinda bent a wee bit and two of the stoppers wont push into the dor frame now) iv made a slit in the paper then low and behold this/members/djbex/E1F_doorpin.JPG
Writing says from top to bottom,
* door pin *
* Rod *
* Black Plastic Stopper (grommet thing)*
*metal connecter to locking device *

Iv wiggled and wiggled it and its DEF not budging, im smileys/smiley7.gif smileys/smiley7.gif now!! Ive got a mark 2 vtr is it only mark 1's that u can wiggle with?
Any advice?

Done mine, Bexy baby !
Pain in the bum tho. Theres a black plastic clip holding the rod to the central locking connector and solenoid. I jus attached a pair of longnose pliers to it , and gave it a little pull , and it jus came off! Then i was able to pull the pin out from the top !
Reason why my lock stopped working yesterday was that I had disconnected the solenoid from the door lock itslef. The little white bit, kinda looks like a letter 'L'. Just dont disconnect this as it was a right pain to get back on !
If you want to make it a bit easier for yourself, undo the 3 torq bits on the door edge, as you look down it with the door open , then you can pull it all a bit closer to you so you can see it better and have better access to it!

ARSE !!! FEK !!! I need a drink, i still not got it done. do you have a mark 1 vtr or mark 2? that white bit of plastic thats shaped like an L isnt in mine. Its white but it aint like an L its more of a pyramid shape.
I think it must be because they must be diffeent cars, yours looks like the mark 1?

on the mk1 wiggling is enough, on the mk2 they seem to have changed the design a little. Use a pair of pliers and cut the mother fuckers its not liek you would ever be putting them back would you? i know i definetely couldnt be arsed fiddlign around trying to put them back

Yeh i bloody did two, Al said citroen sell them at 20p a pop....i still wouldnt give them any more money than i have to, so ill get them else where. lol
