amp/stereo wiring help

can anyone tell me if this wire will let me connect an amp up to my pioneer p80. assuming the red and white wires ive got in my car and been told they will let me connect an amp go in them 2 red and white things?

i think that lead is for an input device like an ipod. not an output like an amp

Yer that is for a Ipod/ MP3 player to be conneted to the headunit.
