have u seen the haynes max power manual it tells u how in there but i think u have a hairdryer and slowly heat the badge up until it starts to ease off

The back badges just come off, there just stuck on(be careful tho smileys/smiley2.gif ), then get yourself one of those Dimma badgeless front grilles with the woven ally/steel mesh, they look the dogs smileys/smiley20.gif

they come off easy and leave a total of three nice holes in the boot which need filled and painted.

best to weld a small metal plate behind it, skim of filler, quick sand and ready for painting

the metal plate would be welded from inside the boot yes, or you could even get away with gluing a plate inside, just make sure you use proper epoxy bonder and not just super glue

eh?

you will still need to use filler, but as little as possible. Basically weld/glue a plate behind the hole, skim of filler to fill the hole, sand flat, prime, paint, lacquer

get the boot totally smoothed at the same time . Thats what I did. I love the smooth boot look, but some people dont actually like them. Personal preference!
