Alarm + Immobaliser (FP570)

Just picked up my new Saxo VTR Mrk 1 (1998) yesturday.

I was looking through all the paper work and came across an invoice for an Alarm/Immobaliser system thats has been fitted and it just gives the number FP570. Googled it but nothing comes up.

It seems to have to motion sensors at the top of the A pillars and came with a key fob (remote thing) but when i press the buttons on it nothing happens, apart from the green LED on the remote lighting up.

Anyone have any ideas on how to check if it still works? or if not will it have overridden the citroen immobaliser?

dude have a look in the engine bay for the alarm box many times people just disconnect it for some reason or maybe under the glovebox for the alarm main unit might have a wire off or something but its best to pm the experts that pred just said
