What a joke... police

Right 7 months ago now, my mates bike got stolen and he got assaulted by a group of ten pikeys. He had some pretty serious facial injurys, and of course a stolen bike.
Reported it to the police, they said they have CCTV and we knew all of their names. 7 months on the police have still done nothing. Not even bothered contacting my friend about it.

Last week, me and my friend were driving through Birmingham (digbeth high street) when a land rover discovery, swerved in front of us, causing us to stop, got out the car and assaulted my mate and threatened me with a knife.
The police told us they didnt have time to deal with it and could only take 1 of our statements.


THEN

on friday night i got caught taking a piss (in a back alley, just out of town).

Police have come round my house, and now i am forced to go in tonight. Getting a repremand, its going on my record for 5 years and anything up to an 80 quid fine!

i mean come on the police nowadays (in hereford anyway) are utter shite, dont have time to deal with serious incidents but have time to do me for taking an inncoent slash behind a building.

granted other police forces around the UK are much better, when i was in durham they were alot more responsive to incidents, but im sorry but here they are a joke.

My friend got pretty badly beaten by some charvas in hebburn, helped him out then carried him away from the place even cleaned him up with my top. Some meat head of a policeman decided to start splittin mine n my friends fight up (meanin me carryin him). He then continued to try and throw me around, hadn't been drinkin so decided to ask him for his badge number, he threatened me with drunk n disorderly amongst others. Eventually another police man had to set his dog towards him to stop him assaulting me. Needless to say some of them are Pure Ham Shankers!

There are in breach of the victims codes of pratice mate. Write a letter of complaint addressed to the Cheif Constable explaining dates on when you reported it and the fact that you've heard nothing since. Also include and crime report number or reference numbers that you were given.

Got away with the fine in the end, got a repremand, and 'urinating in a public place' on my record for 5 years. all jokes tbh, but owell. Gonna wait till the end of the week to see if i hear anything about anything else then maybe think about filing a complaint. cheers for the help people :y:

It was a gas powered BB gun of some kind, but still split the skin through two layers of clothing and caused very visable bruising.

I went to the police the next day and havnt heard a thing since.

You would have thought that being a gun crime, they would look into it a bit more.
