Does any1 know where i can find a cheap carbon bonnet had a look on ebay they are £440 quid at the moment aint seen any secound hand ones for a bit on there!! I have read the posts about cam racing but he still hasnt posted up any prices as of yet so still waitnting to find out.:drink:

carbon bonnets don't come cheap mate, so I doubt you will get a cheap one. Could try getting a fibreglass one?

Gonna be pretty expensive mate, carbon fibre isnt cheap! ha
just keep checking the for sale section on here

When i was down at the donny show earlier this year there was a guy there selling genuine carbon bonnets which i saw for £250 and these were in great nick which i had his number as he reckons he makes them all the time!!

i am looking one too, cheapest i can find is £470 for mk1 (delivery inc) and £680 for mk2 (delivery inc) not the cheapest!!

KamRacing are developing some at the moment. No idea on prices, but as far as im aware it wont be too long until we know.

yeah, dont expect carbon to come cheap cos it ain't.
and a cheap bonnet will more than likely be poor quailty.
wait till KamRacing is selling his, will be top notch and a good price.

The Ones That I Saw At Donny Were Mk1 Mate Looked In Good Nick But Looks Can Be Deceiving Lol!! You Can Get A Mk2 Carbon Bonnet On Ebay New For £440 And Mk1 Also

If you have a look through my thread I have a carbon bonnet on mine painted black. Quality is spot on. It was originally an expensive bonnet!
If you look close up at a lot of the cheaper ones they are crap.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for - even second hand

we are doing the first test bonnet to check the mould so expect some news shortly. Fingers crossed the quality will be spot on
cheap carbon products are heavy and the finish won't be as good. Its only as good as the materials and time put in. Things like cheap resins have a marked effect on the final product.
