Morning! Monday Blues Over? :y:
Just after a bit advise as usual, got a call yesterday evening from Paypal saying
my account is now on limited access as a payment of 227 pounds was sent out
from my account. To be honest I was a bit like okkkkay at first, the guy
explained the money will go back in, as I wasnt aware of it.
Ive redone my password and security questions, but thing is how the hell
could this of happened in the first place! I only use the card over the internet
and havent done so in a long time now. Freaky, bit worried my bank will be
gay and try screw me over too.
Anyone had a similar experiance? My faith in Ebay/Paypal has took an even
bigger step down now.

its not to do with your bank account so dont worry.
just had the same thing happen and its now sorted.
its normally when a 3rd party gets to your paypal account, then they can somehow claim that they sent you money, but you didn't send them "the product", so the reverse the transaction, leaving your paypal account in the negative.
as paypal have concated you, they know its not your fault and they will restore it to how it was prior to this happening.
my advise would be to change all your passwords, secret questions, etc and maybe change your email address, should just give you some more security over the account.

yeah, that should be as it was.
my account had £20 in it before it got attacked, once paypal sorted it, they gave me that and a bit extra for the inconvinience.
ended up with £44, bargain.
I wouldn't worry mate, it will get sorted, just check it in a day or so and if they haven't just phone them and give them a telling off, then they do it quicker.

Well Ive just received 2 more emails from Paypal, first one asks for an up to
date bank statement and an up to date utility bill (mobile phone).
The other email is one of these:
Dear Rushpal Grewal,
Your package will be sent via PayPal Postage with Royal Mail.
janice hodgson used PayPal Postage with Royal Mail to create a posting label
for your package. Once the package is given to the Post Office®, it will be on
its way to you.
