i heard that there is a insurence company who dont add on the preimun for mods unless its perfomance ones..is this true?

apparently quinn direct do this but ive never been with them to find this out. i think they ask for a form filled out and signed by a garage listing the mods on the car..possibly
can someone with quinn clear this up?

Cant say Iv heard of that to be quite honest. As soon as you start upgrading/modding your car they always find some way of bumping your premium up. eg. Window tints - more noticable therefore more likely to be nicked/damaged, higher insurance risk. My mates company wouldnt insure him with alloy wheels. How ridiculous.
