Take the bonnet off? Weld sheets under the vent things so that water cant get in.

rag the engine.
do a gti conversion.
Any car with that much money "invested" should be garaged and driven only in rubbish conditions if theres no alternative.
Got pics?

ok buddy u cant weld it LOLS its fibre glass so welding is the daftest thing ever lol.
all i do is on a night time (if you have the patients and respect for your car)
open the bonnet up and put a towel in ur engine bay (make sure the engine is cold tho lol dont want a fire now do we) then in the morning simple take it out before you set off.
another thing is you maybe getting water in due to the fact you have not siliconed the actual mesh in alot of people make this mistake lol they just put the mesh in and think ahh all is well eh NO when it rains water builds up in the actual scoop so when u open ur bonnet up you will get a mini niagra falls lmao.so silicone it up nice and tight ;).
if your saxo is a mk1 (get the bonnet off lol the scoop does not look right on that shape saxo due to the fact the front of a mk1 is alot more square then a mk2.mk2 has the rounded grill and front lights which dont look as bad) any scoop on any car can look right as long as you put other features to the car that evens it out alot of people make the mistake of oh il bang this on then look at the car and they have a standard bumper etc etc and it looks stupid lol.or they go stupid and keep adding stuff and then it looks OTT.as i have said to many people who are wanting to modify always work from the bottom upwards no point having a saxo with say teh devil spoiler and you have no body kit its the daftest thing to see ever.
post pics up of your car dude and a pic of the inner side of your bonnet :)

get a standard bonnet on there mate, theres no need for a vent on a car, id say the louvres are what you should get, there more for letting hot air escape from the car or even bonet jacking, but tbh its a 1.1 theres really no need for any of it
