phase 2 engine in phase 1 vtr?

i rolled my 2003 saxo on saterday, after owning it for 10 houes :P i got owned by a wet corner at 115 lol

well im over it, its only a car at end of the day, and i didnt get hurt so meh

but coz i cudnt afford full comp deposit, i only get the car back, and the engine still works on it.

so i was goin to strip it and put it into a phase 1, V reg, but i dont kno weather it will be just straight in with the engine or if any modifications are needed.

because tbf i love phase one shape so much more than phase 2, all the 1st's of cars are better, like the mk1 clio's there hot.


but yeh, iv found a phase one, so need to know sharpish if my engine will just drop in, coz it only has 17k on it.

no, i was on my way to get her, and your saying if your sister was been beat by a man, ud just leave her? and i didnt kno the corner was wet, it was bone dry all the way, untill about 10ft before that corner, and the corner is done at 120+ by people. and as for putting ppl at risk, it was 4AM, on the yorkshire moors, a car didnt come past me for 45 mins lol

i kno it was stupid goin that fast, but im not gone let some bloke beat my sister coz she darnt do anything

yes, i agree with you wanting to protect ya sister, but to get there faster than you actually can is wrong! You wont get this, but driving safe gets you places quicker, and in one peice! just cos people do 115 round a corner dnt mean you can attempt it. if everyone was to drive there car into a brick wall, with no airbags, doing their fastest, would you! didnt thinks so

Engine will go in but you will need to swop a fair few extra bits!
ECU, wiring, both manifolds, imobilser unless ecu is unlocked!

it is pretty crumpled. no passanger door, boot is gone, roof touchin back seats, infact, every panel was smashed in apart from the drivers side door, even a wheel came off, but yeh, tbh iv learned not to drive fast, as i dont while im back in my clio :) so calm down tbh

I know that corner. The speed signs there opperate on a "times 2 add 10" principle. The sign says 50mph so 110 is easily do-able ;) 90mph was possible in the 1.1 Fezza so it would be easy 110mph in a VTR. Anyway, I digress

Swap all the sensors, dials, engine, manifold, exhaust centre section, etc, etc.

Or send the whole lot off to the crusher and save time, hastle and, more than likely, your pathetic little existence
