Just gone to take them off but the screws holding them on have completly rusted away- how can i get them off without breaking the plates or the screw holes.

hmm, is it the front plates or rear plates. im sure if the bolts are long enough you can get pliers behind them to undo them. if not then just drill it out - if it does ruin the thread then just use double sided tape to hold the plates on

get some grips on them and undo that way, may take a while but best way IMO

drille them, then get plates with no holes and stick them on to cover holes if needs be ;)

yep i agree drill them out with a 13/64th drill bit and velcrow them on looks sweet

go on ebay and type screw extractor mate :y:
or if you havea dremel drill make a slot on the end for a flathead screwdriver to fit on
