air bag light....HELP

almost everytime i start up my vtr the airbag light keeps flashing, what could cause this, ive already checked the connection under the seat.....

stick a bit of black tape over it!
nor mate check all ure wires in ure engine bay myn did the same and it was because of my wires wer burnt out
