right im gonna be driving to nottingham tomoro finish work at 5 but got a feeling if i set off straight away im gonna get cought up in loads off traffic heading to leeds or stuck getting passed leeds or sheffield, anyone know how bad it is or if im better off setting off around 6 of just after cheers guys

you will find traffic around junction 43-42 on the M1 as thats where the M62 joins. Sometimes you can be sat there for ever and others its not bad so be prepaired for that.
I also hear about shit loads of traffic around 30-29 so also be prepaired.
They are average speed check cameras near the M18 junctions so be careful and stick to the 50mph limit.
Also be careful around Nottingham once leaving the M1 (jnc 26) If you heading to town its all average speed check cameras to so just stick to the limit to save a nice fine and points.

ahhh i see your setting off at 6. Not sure where your from but im going to have a stab at the NE. by the time you get down towards the M62 area it will be about 7.
You should be clear sailing at that time, although chances are you will still be caught up with the average speed check cameras.

Not sure if junct 25 is still closed on m1 but if so jnuct 26 can still be busy after 7pm, then as leckie said speed cameras all way into town, set at 40mph!

cheers guys, just wondering whens best to set off from darlington, went down sat was fine, i know the average speed check cameras just after sheffield are still there, and all the cameras i see after coming off the j26 to notts i just stick to the slow limits incase they are 1 flash wonders, dya rekon itl be clear sailing setting off at 6, so id be at leeds for like 7, sheffield like 7 30, gettins to j 26 bout 8.
