Russian Roulette with beer cans:
Shake up one can out of say 10 and get each person to go up to a table with the 10 cans on and shuffle them around while everyone else is looking away.
Everyone does the same then you all go back, pick a can, hold it to your head, then on the count of 3 everyone opens cans.
The one that gets wet looses and has to play bob the apple with the kids

lol - the only thing with that, is that when you pick a shaken up can you can usually tell that it had been shaken

Apple bobbing,
marshmallows in a basin of flour,
jam donuts on strings,
pin the tail,
big bowl of vodka jelly with strawberry laces and grapes etc through it so it looks like guts,
lots of cottonwool cobwebs,
get black binliners & cut them into strips like an inchwide by a metre long and hand them from the ceilings and doorways n stuff,
red lightbulbs,
hmmm thats all i can think of off the top of my head, having a big halloween party at mine lol so thats my notes :)

Buy some rubber gloves, fill them with water and then add loads of food colouring, tie the top of them and whack them in the freezer on a flat surface.... whilst they are freezing in there make an alcoholic punch with some Haribo Halloween sweets floating in the top... just before your guests arrive take the gloves out of the freezer and gently cut the rubber glove off with a sharp knife.... no gently place the frozen hand in to the punch... giving the effect of a gory hand in the punch... you could even make finger icecubes!
Have a strobe light on slow flash tucked away in the corner of your living room facing up to the ceiling, this will give the lightning effect... buy a CD with some eeeerrrry noises on!
Don't forget to hollow out a few pumpkins and cut faces in them, then put a tealight inside!
Put some plastic bugs in the bathroom, like a millipead coming out of the bath/sink plug hole.
Apple bobbing is good, but only if people haven't got any face paint on!
Chris :)

We did a party for my ex's kids a couple of years back and it went down an absolute storm mate....... especially with the adults/parents, they loved it.
We had the red lightbulbs, mass of cobwebs in the entrance hall etc etc.
