I posted a thread and two hours later it was locked lmao.
Dirty spammers! ;)
Sorry to Dan, Scott and other mods who may see this but ive gotta explain a little more about my neighbour so.....
New years eve last year was when my family and hers fell out. Her husband got really pissed and as i went to shake his hand he tried to grapple me into a headlock which i rolled out of and pushed him away laughing jokingly. He then went in a rage and went to smack me. I ducked and twatted him twice, then my dad threw me 45 foot into the air to get me off him. Anyway never been the same since so sorry if this seems a little biased as your all getting my point of view.
Shes insane. Simple as. The woman is a raving alcoholic who drinks all the time. Ill be sat in my house and hear the garage door roll up every five minutes so she goes for a bottle of wine.....
Shes addicted to pain killers. and the rest of the pescription drugs she picks up. Weirdest thing happend a few weeks ago....
On my way back from the gym next door neighbor comes out of house kinda towards my car spaced out to F*CK!!!!!! I give a friendly "Hello" and start walking off. She says "Their b*stards"....... WTF. "who"
Them that wont let me be off work with my illness. I can hardly walk (*clutching wine bottle*)
"Oh right.........." anyway had a ten minute convo that resulted in her sobbing into me "IVE LOST TEN YEARS OF MY LIFE RICHARD".
Ever since then she hasnt spoken to me just scowled and looked the other way.
Sorry for the rant but when I open my paychecks and see the amount of tax we get and then see that 57 plate megane CONVERTIBLE (Chris ;)), on her drive I get VERY pissed. Especially as I work my Ass off 5 days a week, which will be noted by my absence and e-friends crying themselves to sleep.
And I know shes claiming disability from our other neighbours whom she told, who told my mum and dad on saturday when they went for a meal together.
Rant over.
Ruddy feels better.

Alcoholism may not actually be claimable as a disability, however, depression brought on by alcoholism can be.
The Disability Discrimination Regulations 1996 give guidance on the definition of a disability, in terms of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). Alcoholism is excluded. However, a recent employment appeal tribunal “Power –v- Panasonic UK Ltd” ruled that an employee who suffered from depression, which may have been caused by alcohol abuse, may be a disabled person within the meaning of the DDA. The issue here is that the depression was classed as a disability and it was immaterial what had caused the depression.
She may also have other health problems, neuropathy is a particularly common side effect in chronic alcohol misuse.

depression should not be classed as a disability its fuckin daft, this means that most alcoholics will have it and be claiming, therefore money for more beer, making it worse..

Well it's almost certainly depression that she's suffering from (or claiming to suffer from) which is something that affects people in different ways. Many people will use alcohol as a method of 'escapism' and is often a sign of depression.
If she's claiming any kind of DSS benefit then surely any claim has to be backed up by a GP.
But.....the problem with depression is that it's often quite difficult for a medic to prove one way or another. This is why depression is usually an exclusion on most 'sickness' insurance policies.

If you seriously think 'going on the sick' is some kind of way to riches and an easy life then you've been reading papers like The Sun too long.
You don't suddenly get paid out thousands of quid every week when you go on the sick and it doesn't mean you can afford new cars and 300k houses.
If you think this, then I suggest you take a look at what benefits are actually payable and what you get.

I would refer you to this excellent article (http://www.emedicine.com/pmr/topic9.htm), however I feel your eyes would glaze over and a vacant expression would replace the one you are wearing at present.
Put simply, chronic alcohol use damages the nerve cells and the sufferer gets repeated falls, a loss of balance, difficulty with knowing the position of their limbs, as well as painful pins and needles.

I'm not being funny but my neighbours have recentlly got 3/4 of them... ever since I have to live with them shitting in my garden, all the way down the side of my house. Pissing on my car (Yates as well).. I can't leave the backdoor open because they come in, I left my car door open the other day while I ran in the house to get a lighter.. I came back and it was sat in my car.
They are really begginging to fuck me off, not only that but it keeps rubbing up to my god damn car.. I keep finding the odd scratch on my paintwork and I am going to assume thats something to do with the little buggers. Tried a deterant and it hasent worked..
I am debating shooting the little shits.

You can get money from the government (ie the taxpayer), but ask yourself how much will it actually be, and the free houses so beloved of the red-tops are in reality from the worst parts of the social housing stock. Maybe your aspiration in life, but certainly not mine.

What I was referring to was those who deliberately misrepresent their vehicles when applying for insurance (fronting, non-declaration of mods etc), as well as the more creative claims, whiplash, personal effects, ICE for example.
Both cost me money that I should not have to pay out. Does anyone else begrudge paying it?

lets face it i wont be able to get a decent mortgage for any house until im on £30k.
so instead I breed... then get a house for free.
winner.
Truthfully though, I pee'd off at the level of support mass breeders get from the government and the apparent lack of effort of some people to get a job.
Yet I (will be) working my ass off to get towards a step on the property ladder, pay off my student debt, then get tax'd through the arse to support these wasters.

I allways challenge my mind ;). I work in a deprived area clearing up the wreckage the locals leave after heavy sessions on the Strongbow Super or Tennants Super. I look for answers to the questions that have been raised in this post day in and day out, 'why should we, the working class pay for this ?'

I'm around on many, many forums, mainly this persona, but some others as well. Frequent pistonheads, pepipoo, barryboys and others. I don't post on the ones that are home to retards - so that's MNR out, many of the type specific forums see me making a visit every now and then. Your just lucky it's your turn!
Have driven many citroens, however the only one I came close to buying was a BX meteor. 19 miles on the clock and it spewed it's gearbox onto the road. Luckily it was on a test drive, and even more luckily, there was a bus stop close by.

I'm sure we said that in the first thread, someone even gave you the number.
As to my "agenda", it's been explained several times. Absolutely passionate about the modified car scene and at times it needs a hoof to the nads to ensure that the more strident parts of the media don't give you a really hard time. The modified car scene sometimes appears to have a self-destruct tendency, I try to redress the balance.
