How many of you are with them?

How many of you think there wank?

I am and i think they are the shittest internet providers ever... Considering they took over BlueYonder, since they took it over my net has been slow, down for nearly half the time, if not nearly all the time....

Rang them, just auto mated service shit, looking into the Sky package, 10 quid for hook up... Are these any good does anyone know?

Virgin Media is rubbish.

I have LOADS of things I could say about them, but I start work at 7.30 in the morning. Seriously though, when I had it the internet was down, slow and couldn't get through to them - it drove me up the wall.

I'm with BT Broadband now and it's MUCH quicker than the cable and not let me down ONCE.

I;m with virgin media (THINK THERE SHITE)

They were amazing when known as blueyonder, UNLIMITED speeds no fair usage crap! and i never had problems with bad routing.

My friend lives about 10 minutes walk away from me and my ping is 300 and his is 30... (IT should always be 30 btw)

Their customer service is crap and no offence but waiting sucks when calling and then there very inexperienced and give you the basic checks you know yourself such as spyware, reboot modem etc lol

SKY aparantly are SHITE they are cheap but cheap for a reason... however - considering using them because virgin suck recently

The only on-going problem I had over a peroid of 3 months was the TV freezing and making weird high pitch noises. Everytime I rang them someone was round when it suited me and fixed the problem.

Telephone no problems ever.

Internet, never had outages but is good practise to turn all your router stuff off at least once a month. I did a speed test when it was running slow come out at 256Kbps, turned it all off and then re-tested and it was back to 2000Kbps.

I think VirginMedia are better company than NTL ever were and their customer service is 100% better! :y:

Hope this helps

I doubt it. :p

They said to me this morning that they had a problem with our connection and would be sorted by 5pm Today, it was off all morning, and i got in at 5.30, came on at 6, AND IT WORKED, normally i have to reset modem, and all that crap... Hopefully it's sorted now. :y:

I still think the whole lot as one is shit, customer services, the actual service they provide, can get better service, and cheaper else where, which is what i might do if i get the time tbh.

im with them for the internet purely because we can't connect higher than 480k on ADSL in this arse (shit) so cable was the only way.

Currently on the 20mb package and we connect usually between 12mb & 17mb which i don't think is bad (better than 480k anyway!!)

Not had the delights of the customer service yet but im sure like all telephone help, it will be piss poor.
