T Reg vtr, unsure what mark?

hello, i have a T reg vtr, i am currently deciding what to do next to it, whenever i ask if the mods such as induction kits, grills e.t.c will fit my car i always get asked what mark is it as 99 was the crossover year. is there any definitive way how i can find out whether its mark 1 or mark 2? cheers guys:y:
