modem help

i no its the wrong section but no one is answering in the it section and i need to know asap as im just about to order my confuser from dell. if i have a wirless card in my computer and i have a bt home hub in my house, do i need a modem to connect to the internet or does it just run straight through the hub and the card?

depends how you got it, you need the hub wired to a computer, so if thats the same with the card in then take the card out, install the hub on that pc, you dont need a modem home hubs if i remeber correctly one goes into your hponeline, then a network cable (FJ45) goes into you PC, and then thats it no modem, then all other PC's/Laptops need wireless so they connect to the home hub threw titners no need for a modem what so ever mate!

And you have also have up to 4 pics wired into the homehub

thats ocne again all of the top of my head, never used one!
