I am with quinn direct and I have been on their website to find that you can alter you details online.
I managed to add an exhaust, air filter, leather and alloys and it cost me nothing.
I got the new certificate through shortly and its really good and easy.
All you have to do is register with you reference number and the click the change vehicle and it gives you four modification spaces with plenty to choose from. And all of the common ones had no change in price (lowering etc).
Just thought I would post this as lots of people ask if mods are aloud and you can change them quickly and freely with quinn online.

Could it be that you get charged more when the renewal comes through?

When running new quotes, I'm getting charged £100 ish for adding any mods.

I don't think the price goes up on the renewal as the modification come through on ta new certificate and then the renewal will just be the same i guess

I would of thought Adding an Exhaust would of made it go up as this is a Performance mods which there for make your car more powerful which the insurence dont really like

Supprised it hasnt i need to declaire mine though ive already had a crash and making a claim with my mods on and they dont no about it :n:

Yeah I thought it would go up as well. But there was no price change.
The drop down selection of the exhaust had (inc power) as well, so they know it is an increase in power.
