Im looking for somewhere to buy some black carpet for my install.I have had some carpet which i brought from motor world and it was really hard to hover as it was like hairy if you know what i mean.I want some like what they use on sub boxs.

I have looked on ebay and it all seems to be the same stuff like motor world sell.:panic:

Thanks for any help in advance.:y:

I am just carpeting my track slag. I just used the stuff you get off ebay. It is easy to hoover and looks spot on man. Also I just stuck a sub in the back  and it sounds very good. Mind you I put a fair bit of sound proofing underneath the carpet. I got that from caraudiosecurity. Very good website imo :)

I bought carpet once, hence why i suggested leather, which is what i have, so easy to wipe down etc.

I want to use carpet as im going to have to cover the sides and over the arches as you can see in the picture and it will be 10 times easy with carpet than it will be with leather or vinyl.Im still going to the box in cream leather so it will still look good tbh. Thanks for the help i think im just going to order some off ebay and hope its not as bad as the stuff i got from motor world.

That carpet you have got baz looks alot shorter(less fluffy) than the stuff i brought from motor world.

Have you got a link where you got it from please?
Rep will be given to you.

I would but it will just crease loads trying to cover the sides where it has the go around the curve of the arches.

Dunno if Jim got it from ebay, but they sell lots of it on there.

They sell it everywhere mate!
Easier to find than scouse poon tang

Google ftw!
Bay is also good and cheap and i can post loads of sites besides these that you can grab some from

Faux leather looks the shizzle tbh, go for that over acoustic carpet anyday
(Acoustic carpet is the fuzzy stuff as its more sound permeable than regular carpet and used to cover subs and parcel shelfs usually)

If you want to get the fluff off dont hover it, wrap your hand in tape sticky side up and patt it off!
