Acctually i have noticed alot of them around Edinburgh. This morning on my way to work they were under a rail bridge, even a rally driver would struggle to hit 30 round this bend on a closed road!
I was traveling from the green market to the red one, they were standing on the yellow marker... - Map (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=4863036177439991073,55.941340,-3.228500%3B849896623088453847,55.940610,-3.227200&saddr=Russell+Rd+%4055.941340,+-3.228500&daddr=55.940855,-3.228108+to:Murieston+Crescent+%4055.940610,+-3.227200&mrcr=0,1&mrsp=1&sz=19&mra=dpe&sll=55.940888,-3.227902&sspn=0.001245,0.003369&ie=UTF8&ll=55.940999,-3.227974&spn=0.002491,0.006738&t=h&z=18&om=1)

They blatently try for the whole entrapment thing though, hide behind bus stops in bushes etc!
Oh and I forgot to mention it's a 2 mile drive to where I work, with no major roads!

Have you thought it's the beginning of the month, and the majority of the patrols may be armed with ANPR connected to the tax and insurance database. All those who are driving around having "forgotten" to renew their tax are in for a shock. Roadside seizure of your vehicle is a pretty good start to the working day. Nothing wrong with it at all, anyone want to disagree and say they enjoy putting their hands in their pockets to subsidise dishonest drivers?
