my car is a vts and it keeps idleing and cutting out when i slow dow...ive had a diagnosis and it couldnt find anything....so some people told me to change some sensors etc to try and fix it.....does any1 no how to or where the temp sensor is located on a vts.

on an 8 valve it has a green body with a yellow sleeve and is on the thermostat housing, haynes manual doesn't mention the VTS engine, could be in a similar place.

It is on the back of the thermostat housing and has a green plastic connector. It is cheap (about £10-12 from Citroen) and easy to replace.

It might be the idle control valve that's doing it. Try unplugging it with the engine running and see if the revs stabilise.
