nightmare lighting

hi i have a 2001 vtr. i have had a few problems with it but i fink this is the worst. i have called citeron up about this prob and there service is crap and they dont seem to no much about nothing. whenever i turn the headlights on the breaklights are permenantly on. and when there off i press the break and my
dials light up and a headlight cums on. i have heard that its a faulty ground cable. any ideas ??

has problem like this a few weeks ago. a rear brake light blew and tripped the electrics in the car. it blew a fuse and messed up with the immobiliser in the car. the alarm and immobiliser has not worked since had car. the alarm kept going off , the front indicators stayed on at all time and i had no option but to disconnect alarm+battery. Had no clues to what the problem was so i went to garage and they asked me to press the key fob and they lights went off. connected the alarm back up and no siren. hope this helps you with it.

cheers mate. i think im goin to take it in 2 a garage. i cleaned the light holders and it made it worst. atleast my headlights arnt cumming on when i break now and the rear right light works fine. shame about the left tho

I had exactally the same problem it was the wrong bulb in the brake light at the back!! :y:
