anybody got any tips for using the magnetic lasso tool? it seems to grip onto everthing apart from what i want to crop and sometimes i click to manually pick points but it like finishes the selection...

use the polygonal lasso tool and select each point yourself ;)

click and hold on the lasso tool and you will have 3 different options, tbh ive only ever used the magnetic ones a few times

Use the pen tool tbh =) gives a smoother finish =D

any tips on using the pen tool im rubbish with it in ps cos im used to the pen tool in illustrator. can never get a smooth finish using the ps one
