What do you think is the scariest movie of all time?

I think mine in order would be

1. Stephen King's IT
2. The Grudge
3.Texas Chainsaw Massacre : The Beginning

These are the ones that have made be jump the most, or made me think twice about going to sleep!

What you mean by scary buddy? A film you jump at? or just gory?

For the jump factor, i would have to say 'the breed' - Bout the zombie dogs

For gore, i would say Land of the Dead

I thought Finding Nemo was quite scary when Bruce almost ate nemo

Seriously though, the only film that has ever scared me was Poltergeist 2 which I watched when I was about 8. Wuoldn't dare look in a mirror for weeks after because I thought I'd get sucked in or see someone stood behind me.

Still makes me shudder now......

Good to hear someone else gets really scared of films :y:

I know this is going to sound gay, but when i was younger, i watched Goosbumps, and theres this one where this music place is haunted, and theres a piano woman who is the one haunted, i never went near a keyboard or a piano for the rest of primary!

Sacery films ftw!!

Scary films are always generally the same.....couple of teenagers...break down in middle of no-where and get massacared by a madman. So you kind of build yourself up as you know what is going to happen. Im a fan of scary movies but cant realistically say I aint seen a decent one in ages.

Stephen Kings IT is a great film but jeesssssuuussss its on for like 4 hours.

I also really liked the feel of the blair witch project then it came out that it was all faked.....the bit when they are in the tent and loads of people are banging on the tent and they can hear children playing and they stumble along that house in the middle of the woods with all the handprints on the wall......remeber going to watch that on halloween with missus and they decorated the cinema with the blair witch signs and shit

Ah that takes me back, all my ex girlfriends have a phobia of clowns so iv not been allowed to watch IT for a looong time, since about 2nd year in highschool i think!

Never really beena fan of scary movies with dark scenes and loud noises to frighten you, its just cheap & obvious imo.

The first Saw i thought was fantastic because it feels so much more real & possible. people seeing a ghost in the mirror is scary but then touching the mirror and getting sucked in makes me think "your fault, who touches a mirror?" likewise with "theres something out in the garden near where the trees start because we live in the middle of nowhere, so some tool wanders out in the garden going "whos there" as if its a common occurance that their mates hide in the garden when there coming in for you, instead of just knocking :err:

Waste of time!

So so so true.......your being chased by a killer who wants to ram a chainsaw up your japs eye.........

Your in a jeep....he is in road...you mow him down at 80mph and keep going...you dont reverse and get out and check his pulse....coz they always come back alive and feed you to his pigs
