Superchipped ECU - Will it work in mine

Right bloke on here is selling a Superchipped ECU for a mk2 vtr

if i put it into my VTR will i need to get it re mapped or anything like that or just a change over and will work?

just i have no idea how it works with ECU's

any help would be great

If its 'superchipped' then you just open up you're ECU and replace one of the existing chips with the new one.

If you put a completely new ECU in youre car it will need to be unlocked, i dont know how much this is.

If its mapped for a MK2 VTR and you'res is exactly the same then it will work. But if the guy had cams or other mods that are specifically mapped it may be detremental to the cars performance.

right so if i get the "chip" from him and just replace it one of mine think its the best thing i can do, dont wanna chnage the whole ecu will be missions and yeah will need unlock cheers mate ill contact him :) thanks
