well granddad dropped the GTi off this afternoon back to me, how happy was I !!! so after a few hours i walked out and saw the muppet had left it on the street, which i am stupidly conscious about after the shite ive had recently and what happened to my sisters car last week, so i thought right lets get this into the garage (approx 5-10 yds behind house) instead of waiting (own fault) i jumped in the car and started her up, after a few secs of seat arsing etc etc i pulled off, THEN THAT WH0RE COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICER (issued me section 59 few weeks ago) STANDS INFRONT OF THE CAR!!! i now shit myself (being banned etc) and said WHAT she replies get out of the car NOW then a car comes down the road so she had to move, as the car passed i drove past her around the bend and straight into the garage, where she couldnt see me, im thinking oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck TBH, i walked around the house and she's there, YOU she rants but i butted in and i apologized, explained i was only parking it in garage. she is now going to "report to her superior for futher guidance"....... wtf :( i now need new pants due to me nearly poo'ing myself!

If it were to go to court, charges pressed etc, it would be down to the defendant to proove they WEREN'T in the car...

in this situation a police officers word against the word of a member of the public, if it went to court, the jury may decide to side with the police officer. Both parties have to speak under oath, and a police officer is always looked upon as telling the truth. Community Support Officer or not.

Driving without insurance, driving whilst banned, doesn't matter whether it's a few metres or a hundred miles - the offence is absolute you drove it.

She was doing her job, how did she know your intent was only to park up (still an offence) and not to drive all over the place?

As for all those saying forget it, and get her to prove it - try the playground defence when it gets to court.

Step 1) Put fingers in ears.

Step 2) Say in a loud voice "Na, Na, Na, Na - I can't hear you"

Step 3) Repeat until Judge says you are not guilty.

Step 4) If the above fails, shouting "Didn't, didn't, didn't" - louder and louder.
