First things first. Check all the connections on the back of the head unit... One of the blocks is power and one of the blocks is for speakers.
Maybe the h.u is knackered and isnt giving any output? Is it the standard citroen one? Was it deafeningly loud when it stopped working?

could be multi fused
cheek earthing points on head units speakers. could be a cable shorting out the spakers

Are your speakers powered by an amp or the headunit?

my old alpine 9812RB used to do this, i had 2 rewire the door speakers with new wire and it solved it for good!

he aint gave much info tbh, this is what i cud get out of him!
his sub is powered by his amp, his sub works, his amp works.
his 6x9's arnt amped theyre wired from either the front speakers or the back. his front speakers also dont work along with his 6x9's. hes not sure if his back speakers work or not
im thinking loose connection at back of headunit, maybe the speaker block has fell out/coming loose?

Sounds like it could be, happened to a kiddy's car that i saw at my local Audio shop last week
So he doesnt know how anything's wired? 6x9s to the rears probably but the whole configuration and setup sounds naff tbh
