Very good mate!!!! i go down lanes sometimes and it just lights the whole place up! when your behind someone with normal lights you can really tell the diffrence then!

remember some of tese cheap kits you see on ebay are iligal as they are brighter than genuine xenons

like the ones on that vts (not saying they are iligal)

if you compair a car with real xenons they have more of a blue tint and are not as bright as they are

ave reasearched this and got legal advice and any kit that is e marked is legal and they have to be under 10000k anything above is too blue : )

Its not that theyre brighter, its that the headlights theyre fitted to arent designed for them so the beam 'scatters' and blinds other drivers.

I really really want some of these mate but ive been reading about and this is basically the low down;

- Its illigal to fit an aftermarket HID kit to a headlight not meant for it according to the DVLA

- However becuase of some mix up in european and UK laws they cant actually do you for i and cant enforce it only tell you to remove them if theyre too blue because of the immitating emercengy services thing. Unless someone crashes and blames your lights then your screwed.

-Its likely they will be fully illigal very soon, hence why the HID kits have dropped a shit load in price on ebay recently.

-The legal limt in the UK is 6500K, but the police will find it hard to prove you have 8000K

-Theyre very hot and will melt angel eye lenses if you have the angels

- The 'conversion' kits are still not true HID kits, these are still thousands of pounds, and because of the way they work, firing up with very very high current draws and then settling to a stable lower draw (which is lower than standard bulbs), the cheaper kits have been known to damage electric wiring in some cars, and even damage ECU settings or bring up the engine management light on the HUD.

-Becuase saxos use H4 bulbs, if you do get a kit, make sure its one with HI_LO beam, as many of the cheaper HID conversion kits are a low beam HID setup with a halogen bulbs glued to the side for the full beam.
