I have a saxo furio and i have just bought a set of vtr alloys for it, can i use my original bolts or will they not fit ??? Cheers guys

As long as they are the flat seated bolts then yes you can. If they are the tapered ones then you will need a new set. Hope that makes sense.

How can i tell which ones which? What does a flat seated one look like ? or am i being thick ?

Yeah they should be fine mate, i would reccommend buying a set of locking wheel nuts too though.

Yes i am going to buy some today but wasnt sure if i would need new bolts as the wheels on the car atm are steelies

they will not fit, you will need 17mm bolts

They wont be fine. You need to get ones with a flat edge in contact with the outside of the rim, with a washer like these;

The ones you have got now have a taper where they should be flat, like these

If you use the tapered bolts, you could damage the hubs or at worst your wheels could fall off. Ive got VTR rims on my furio and i had to get a set of these mate

no no no....furio wheel bolts will not fit at all. simple as. you'll have to purchase some

Right so its the bolts with the flat edge. What do i ask for when i go in the motor shop?
