Upping Drivers licence...

Well i'm looking at buying my saxo back to track day it.
But it means i'd need the adequate licence to tow it on a trailer, as it won't be taxed - Should be MOT'd but won't have tax therefore i can't drive to the tracks...

Any ideas how to go about upping my licence, or better ways of towing / transporting it legally?

wouldnt it just be easier to tax it and drive it to and from tracks.

trailers are well expensive.

Surely it'd be easiest and probably cheaper to tax it... Otherwise you'd need like a proper truck to put it on the back?

Nah a car trailer should be fine..
Stripped saxo and a car trailer, not overly heavy for a diesel cavalier to cope with..
My uncle has a trailor, so surely that'd be fine?

you could use an A FRAME,but then again the car has to be fully legal to use one so you may aswell just drive it :lol:

and i think you can do a day course or something for the trailer test,my mate was looking at doing it for when he takes his kit car on track days! iirc it would end up being around £300

A Frame sounds much better... Surely you wouldn't need it taxed for this?
No Emmissions etc and 2 wheels on the road...
Would be worth fiding out - Cheaper alternative, as I'm allowed to tow 750kg, so surely a stripped sax and A frame aren't much different to that?
