what are peoples thoughts/views on the above?
i mean completely smoothed out, like the badges gone, and the hole welded over etc, does it look good or just abit gay?
defo want my boot debadged, but have come across a fully done boot that just needs a re-spray so am tempted.
what should i do, go for it, or keep the standard boot?

fully smoothed, and i wouldnt buy that one off ebay, they dont fit i brought one, i would rather buy the more expensive ones, or even get a plate welded and use filler

i didn't plan on buying that one or any fibreglass one, was going to buy one that has had a plate welded and all the work pre done, just needs re-spraying to the colour of my car.

there are a few nice cars that have fully smoothed boots.
it depends on what style you are going for for the whole car if it will look good or not. i.e. it wouldnt work for a track car.
the only problem if you get it done is where to put the number plate. i dont think there is anywhere better to put the number plate than in the standard recess. other places just look weird to me. e.g. if you put a recess in the rear bumper, then it makes the bumper look squashed to me. or if you just stick it on then it looks tacky. you would need to come up with something cleaver to do with the number plate if you are going to pull it off.
heres some pics for you to have a look at.
